Version 4.1 adds many new features, but the crown jewel is definitely 5.1-channel audio for DVD (VIDEO_TS). In previous versions the 5.1 sound would be downmixed to 2ch stereo which if you compare the two side-by-side the difference is night and day. After installing aTV Flash 4.1 the ‘AC3 Passthrough’ setting can be found in Maintenance –> Settings menu.
Couch Surfer Pro has been improved to allow for faster speeds and compatibility with AppleTV 3.0.2 iPhone/iPod Touch gesture control.
Wifi streaming has also been much improved. Streaming via wireless G or N should now yield up to 30% faster speeds.
And as always a handful of annoying bugs have been squashed.

Keyboard Magic has been updated with full compatibility for 3.0 – 3.0.2 AppleTV software versions. This unique app allows anyone with a USB or RF wireless keyboard to navigate menus, control video playback and enter text using a keyboard.
The new version can be installed through the Maintenance –> Manage Plugins menu.

Those who were brave enough to immediately update to AppleTV 3.0.2 may have noticed the iPhone Remote app could no longer be used to browse the web. This has now been fixed in an updated version of Couch Surfer Pro. This new version features full compatibility for the recently released 3.0.2 AppleTV software.
In addition, a number of text entry controls for various sites have been fixed. Happy browsing
